At Butterflies, we provide a range of support activities to help our members develop a healthy lifestyle that promotes their general wellbeing and mental health, ensuring they can maintain a future job. Through coaching we help students learn new skills in time management, procrastination and prioritization, work-life balance, assertiveness training, learning strategies, problem-solving, goal-setting, stress management, anger management, building resilience, social and communication skills, language barriers and more.
Meet our coach
Our coach possesses a blend of IT, mentoring and psychotherapy background and work experiences, having gone through the same struggles of becoming a fullstack software developer during the last few years with great passion for helping students develop, grow, thrive, and become more efficient and resilient in the face of life’s challenges.
Tailored coaching strategies
Coaching is about identifying every individual’s specific needs and tailoring coaching strategies accordingly to improve their mental health, performance and their ability to function as capable, confident, and competent human beings.
Reflection and evaluation
During the sessions students have an opportunity to be actively engaged in reflecting on their current circumstances and evaluating strategies which support or undermine their academic success.
Support system
Our coach assures to monitor and mentor those individuals who are at risk of dropping out of the educational program or not succeeding due to internal and external factors. Coaching at Butterflies is a support system that ensures students do not have to overcome their challenges alone. We all work tirelessly to help our members stay committed during times of frustration, overwhelm, and uncertainty, ensuring they follow through on their goals and ultimately fulfill their potential.
